A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Curtis would say that he was born to serve others. As an adolescent, he recalls lending an ear to young ladies and sometimes guys when they were having relationship or life challenges. It always seemed to be his perspective and how he listened that caused him to keep an audience with his peers.

 

Curtis didn't grow up hard. Actually, he's fortunate to say that he grew up in a stable environment in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Southwest Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. He was an honor student through grade school and high school. Musician (trumpet, singer and a little piano). Now, his grades in College are another story. Let's just say that he and his family are glad he can be respectfully named a graduate of the most prestigious HBCU of them all, Hampton University.

 

If you're looking for the traumatic situations that tell stories in this BIO, this cannot be said about Curtis. His parents divorced in his pre-teen years. He didn't realize it, however this left a stain on his ability to emotionally connect to others. This made it challenging for him to be present even when he was actually there. He wasn't the best in relationships, however he wasn't the worst either. Let's just say that there was a time where he was better off by himself. 

 

The journey to be more present is what brings us to a time where he decides to accept the ordination as a Chaplain. Later on his journey, he decided that becoming a Professional LIfe Coach was an appropriate and worthwhile aim. Curtis has helped countless people see themselves when encountering various situations in their lives This has empowered these individuals to look for the light at the end of the tunnel....or simply create one.
